Each day the sun rises
Across this awakening land
Leading all life into a dawn of the new day
As the night closes its casting shadow
The stars hide behind the golden horizon
In the solitude of time
I stand alone on the shores of life
The waters melting the sands around my feet
Standing motionless in the loneliness within my mood
Unable to move from within my soul
With the wonder of what my future does hold
With the vision of the oceans crystal reflections
That seems to reach on for all eternity in every direction
Leading me no where in this silent reality
Just watching the far off horizon coming together
To meet the heavens beginning
I ask the questions from within the shadows of my mind
With no answers fourth coming do l find
To bring peace within the darkened shadows of time
To the mystical secrets of life’s unknown destiny
Will forever be locked away in all creation
My mind now is as curious
As the day l drew my first breath
Always searching the realms of possibilities
Wanting to learn the hidden ways
In this journey that weaves the pattern of life
Life can be relentless
Unforgiving in the wrongs we may do
The pain forever engraved in ones soul
The tests that are set out before us
In this time we do live
Which were written before our time began
But with each breaking day that comes
And passes us by
I take a silent memory
Beneath my wing into the tomorrows
The gift of wisdom that is learnt
As l grow of age in this life
Will forever be part of my inner being
And in this uncertain destiny of mine
I will know those lost answers that l do seek
