~ An Out Back Evening ~
The wind gently whispers through the trees
Blowing across the rivers face
Casting small ripples upon the waters
A light dust can be seen lingering in the air
As the day is coming into the dusk of the evening
A crimson colour reflects across the land of the outback
The shadows grow long
As the sun meats the horizon in the western sky
Seeing the old gum trees ghostly reflections cast upon the ground
Giving notice of times gone by
The timbers stand tall
Taking on a different appearance as darkness falls
Casts a nightly shadow on the land
The peace of the outback
The serenity of time
To stand alone and feel the touch of this time
To feel the peace of nature
At this days end
